It's easy. Just call in to the Edmonton office (780 471-3200 or 1-800-272-7905) with your UBC number and your email address. We'll generate a password and email it back to you with instructions on placing online bids.
You can still use the phone to bid. But if you've got a computer and an internet connection, why spend all that time on the phone?
The Alberta Building Trades Council of Unions has joined the high-level legal challenge against the Alberta Labour Relations Code that has been launched by the Brotherhood, the Boilermakers, Plumbers & Pipefitters and Electrical Workers. The ABT has pledged financial support for the Supreme Court of Canada challenge.

Our new Training & Administration Centre building is progressing steadily toward the finish line! As of early April, most of the work was happening inside. We were waiting for warmer temperatures to complete exterior and roofing work and to begin landscaping. There have been some delaysdue to manpower shortages, expecially in the drywall trade, however we believe most of the work will be complete in June.
Watch for a date for the official opening of the 55,000 square-foot facility!
A Supreme Court of Canada decision asserting the rights of unions during collective bargaining almost certainly will lead to key parts of the Alberta Labour Relations Code being struck down.
